I'll not only teach you, I'll make you Understand

There's not a single book to cover all programming languages. But all of the programming languages have some things in common. Study about the basics of program execution, compilers and object oriented concepts. These all things will get covered in a single book.

Add dummies to the language you want to learn and you will get a good resource book. In fact it is for dummies series by Wiley. e.g. C for Dummies C++ for Dummies Python for Dummies Etc.

My suggestion would be you first start with Data structures and algorithms. If you get those concepts correct you can than start to learn the programming languages. My suggestion would be to use Cormen ( Introduction to Algorithms Book).
