I am Priyanka an artist, educator, stress buster rather a friend. I use the power of art to make a difference in your life. For me, art is not just a form of expression; it's a living, breathing entity that brings enchantment to every creation. With unwavering passion and meticulous craftsmanship, I breathe life into resin, crafting pieces that burst forth with vibrant hues and captivating textures. In my journey as an artist, commencing in 2004, I have traversed the creative landscapes of San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and India, leaving my mark in prestigious venues such as Dhoomimal, India Habitat Centre, Chitrakoot Art Gallery, Stanford University, Togoon Gallery, Market Street Gallery, and the Triton Museum in California. The honor of participating in the Florence Biennale added an international dimension to my artistic exploration. I am the founder of Studio Chhavi, Bangalore in 2010 when I moved from USA to Bangalore. This is where Hello! I’m Priyanka, the founder of Studio Chavi, and I’ve been an artist and educator for many years. Art has always been my passion, and over time, I’ve made it my mission to help others discover the healing and therapeutic power of creativity. I specialize in various art forms, including traditional painting, drawing, and the modern technique of resin painting. Through my work, I’ve realized that art is not only a creative outlet but also a tool for stress relief and emotional expression. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the San Francisco Art Institute, where I was trained by some of the best artists. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of showcasing my work in various galleries in India and the United States, including the prestigious Stanford University and the Triton Museum in California. These experiences have deeply influenced my art and my teaching, allowing me to bring a global perspective to my work. I started teaching art while I was still in college, and over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with numerous students. My approach to teaching is student-centric and includes a mix of practical skills, creative expression, and emotional well-being. I want my students to feel confident in their abilities, and I encourage them to experiment and develop their unique artistic voice. In my classes, I incorporate live demonstrations and one-on-one feedback to ensure that each student receives the attention they need to grow. At Studio Chavi, I offer both online and offline classes, where students can explore various mediums of art. My focus is on resin painting, but I also teach traditional painting and drawing. Each class lasts around two hours, and I ensure that every student has the opportunity to practice and apply what they learn in a hands-on way. I provide flexible learning, allowing students to work at their own pace while getting personalized guidance from me. One of the key aspects of my teaching is the therapeutic value of art. I believe that creating art can help individuals express their emotions, relieve stress, and find inner peace. I integrate art therapy techniques into my classes to ensure that my students not only develop their skills but also find healing through the creative process. Art is a powerful tool for self-expression, and I am passionate about helping people discover this for themselves. Through Studio Chavi, I continue to empower people of all ages to embrace their creative potential. Whether you're looking to pursue art as a hobby or develop your skills professionally, I provide a nurturing and inspiring environment where you can grow and thrive. I’m here to guide you on your artistic journey, one brushstroke at a time.
