I was introduced to the yogic way of life by a summer camp conducted by the Bihar School of Yoga, that I attended when I was 10 years old. Ever since then I have been a regular practitioner of aasanas, pranayam, kriyas and meditation.
I decided to move on to teaching yoga as I wished to share the joy of yoga with people instead of just keeping it to myself.
After having informally taught group classes for four years while at college I decided to get certified as a yoga instructor. I then went on to do my Yoga Instructor's Course at S-VYASA University, Bangalore and am now certified to teach yoga internationally. I have been taking one-on-one classes for a year now and love the experience! It is great satisfaction that you experience when your students show improvement over time or tell you how much they have been benefited thanks to you. I also have the knowledge of Advanced therapeutic meditative techniques, originated and proven by S-VYASA university, and advanced Pranayam techniques developed by reputed names in the field of Yoga, in addition to the styles of yoga mentioned in my profile.
I like to follow a very holistic approach to the teaching of yoga while also personally catering to each clients' needs. I am a patient and passionate teacher driven by the motive of general good and look forward to spreading the joy of yoga.
