My journey in the field of training began when I became a student learning soft skills over 25 years ago when I was running my own manufacturing company. Public speaking, influencing, communication, negotiations, problem solving etc. etc.were the needs to run the business. I grabbed all the opportunities I got to learn most of the above needs from the best of the faculties available.This included Edward deBono for 'Thinking' skills, Richard Bandler, the creator of NLP for NLP, and many others. However, I also learnt that the best way to learn was to start teaching, and I discovered my capacity to teach almost 20 years ago. Started designing and conducting workshops. I added a dash of spiritual learning too as I realised the importance of it. I have had the honour of training officers and senior managers of several corporate entities, L&T, Ingersoll Rand, Siemens, BHEL, NTPC, Coal India, some Tata companies, Kirloskars etc. are a few to name. He is a “Ship Captain” by profession, master mariner and been sailing for over 20 years has been inspired by Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy on education and has started this initiative to empower youngsters with mentoring techniques unique to seafaring. As a sailor who has oft crossed the seas and oceans, globetrotting to quaint places and popular destinations, engaging with multi-national crew culture at sea and whilst ashore at ports, trying their cuisine onboard, exchanging stories.
