Santhosh Hegade

I initially learnt Tabla from Vidwan Bhaskar Hegde at the tender age and for advanced learning I started from Pt Madivalayya Sali of Benaras Gharana.Presently i am learning Tabla from a great Tabla Maestro Pt Udayraj Karpur. I am aspire to become a Master in the field of Music. As being a good learner, I wish to put good foundation to my students. I would like to give my best in the process of introducing my students to the divine world of music.

Academic Education:
• Completed Master of Music (MA.in Music) from K S G H Music and Performing Arts University,

• Completed Master Of Commerce (M.Com) from Kuvempu University Shimogga.

• Completed 1 year Bachelor of Music from Karnataka University Dharwad.

Music Education:
• Junoir, Seniour ,Vidwat Pratham And Vidwat Poorna In Talavadya From Karnataka State Board.

• Alankar Pratham and Alankar Poorna From Gandharva Mahavidyalay New Delhi with Distinction.



Awards And Achievements;
• Given performance in Sawai Gandharva Samaroh (Kundgol), Dharwad Utsav, Lakkundi Utsav, Sangeethotsava (Sagar) etc….

• Secured 1st rank in Tabla Vidwat exam for Karnataka State.

• Secured 1st rank in Alankar Pratham exam conducted by Gandharva Mahavidyalay New Delhi.

• Participated in Antharnad (Pune) a Guinness Word Record Event Conducted by Art of Living.

• I got First Place in Youth Festival Dharwad.
• Accompanied to Maestros Like Pt. Jayatheertha Mevundi, Pt. Kaivalya Kumar Gurav, Pt. D Kumar Das, Pt. Shreepad Heg.
