"Sheila ma'am is a blessing in disguise for all the IELTS aspirants, especially for the re-test takers. I am trying to increase my writing score from 6.5 to 7 and I am so happy that I have been guided by her to reach my goal. Her expertise in the language is so evident from day 1 of the class and her command over the language helped me to correct my mistakes easily. The learning materials have immensely improved my language skills. Her special attention towards each student provides motivation to strive hard. I highly recommend her if you wish to crack the IELTS with the best score. "

"The academy is situated very near to my place so it was easy to travel to the center for classes. The environment of the classroom was very peacefull which helped me to concentrate properly on whatever has been taught to me. The good thing about the class was the batch size which was limited to 3-4 student giving us freedom to ask questions and learn more as most of the institute do not focus on individual students due to large batch size but we received individual attention for which I will thank the teacher. "Which part of IELTS is tough? Is it -speaking, reading, writing or listening?" in   Exam Coaching/Foreign Education Exam Coaching/IELTS Coaching

Well, Kishore, it always depends on your comfort level or proficiency you have in these components. Speaking and writing are active skills while reading and listening are passive.

"How many days is sufficient to prepare for IELTS exam ?" in   Exam Coaching/Foreign Education Exam Coaching/IELTS Coaching, IELTS General Reading

Hi Sindhu, To answer your question, I would only ask you to answer these questions sincerely: 1. What are my strengths and weaknesses in English? 2. Am I ready to seek professional help to hone my language skills? 3. How much time do I need to hit at the test date? 4. How much quality time can I devote to practicing English in a day ? 5. Can I adhere to the time table I have chalked out for my studies? If you get an answer for all these questions honestly, you can then get the answer to your question you've asked! Best wishes, Sheila Sudheendra

"How can I give benefit of my knowledge to rural areas students?" in   Language/Spoken English

First of all, Kudos Ridhi for having such a noble thought of giving back to society. Try to make learners get a good command of the language by building their vocabulary. By this they will come to know a lot of words used in the English language. Second, teach them to make simple sentences through group/individual activities. Third, without bi-lingual methods, make them express their opinion on very simple things, such as a flower, your school building, your room, etc. This is widen their intelligence to articulate well using adjectives, adverbs, etc. Fourth, conduct regular quizzing and say and tell contests to encourage them to speak in English. Five, reward a child who makes effort to express himself/herself in English. Six, read aloud short stories, simple and interesting ones in class. Seven, if you have the resources, show them short films, documentaries, which are not only knowledge gaining but also inspiring. Eight, encourage students to write poems and stories in English. Edit them and encourage them to be imaginative in their cognitive skills. Nine, exhibit / display any thing they would done for instance, a chart on verbs, my daily routine, an essay, etc. Ten, pictionary can be a wonderful tool to help them gain extra vocabulary. So, Ridhi, hope you find my suggestions useful and all the very best! Sheila Sudheendra
