I am a teacher with 25 years of experience in teaching Mathematics and Physics, for classes 9 and 10, CBSE and ICSE boards. My expertise lies in coaching weak students, building their concepts and confidence in the above subjects.

Teaching experience of more than 10 yrs with students of all boards. My method of teaching physics is to make students understand the essence of the subject properly which in turn actually helps shaping their thoughts scientifically.

My teaching philosophy originates from the source, a Chinese proverb, “Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand.” I started teaching Master Students while doing my Ph.D. I would present small concepts and then request student feedback ensuring they understood. Once their comprehension was verified, I would then move on to the next concept. If not understood, I would approach the topic from a different perspective. Once they understood I would take note, as a teacher, the optimum method of presenting the topic. Teaching, for me, has been an evolutionary process that has helped me develop better skills with each teaching experience. Teaching and learning is a never-ending process for both teacher and student. I am intrigued by the fact that a teacher can influence the lives and careers of so many students. I am teaching to B.Sc. (Biotechnology) and M.Sc. (Biochemistry & Biotechnology) students for last two years in a reputed college at Bangalore. Student participation is a must for the successful conduct/completion of the course. I have found that instilling motivation and excitement amongst students for the material included in my courses facilitates the learning process. I provide ready notes/condensed material to students so that they know what will be taught during the lecture. This helps to keep their attention on the material being presented rather than divided attention on listening and note taking. In my opinion, students should be able to understand, retain, apply and grow from the knowledge they receive in the classroom. Science teachers should not only be able to educate, but create curious minds that are able to think logically, do research and create a new knowledge bank for future generations.

I completed Master degree in Physics & Electronics and I have been teaching students since 20 years. I am Sharp, knowledgeable, energetic and mould my personality to suit the need of the student over the years. I have been able device my own teaching techniques which can cater to all children.
