The book of love has music in, in fact that’s where music comes from. And the angels had guitars before they even had wings. Music! Who can live without it? I ask in all honesty. What would life be, without a song or a dance what are we? #Graceland

At Ostinato’s not only do we strive to become professional musicians, but we tackle all the mysteries and wonders of music. Music is the closest thing we have to magic. And it’s powerful. Music can charm a snake when we can’t even try I’m sure that will get you thinking about the strength of music. We strive to use music not only to master it. But of course we will. Distinctions are at arms reach. But to also come back to life. To remember who you truly are. Music mind you, will change you. Music will heal you.

But there’s two sides to that as well. Mainly this is for vocalists. For they manipulate music with words. Here at Ostinato’s we are building people to make music for the soul purpose of pure love. We are spreading messages to help whoever crosses our path with our gifts. And with great power comes great responsibility. Songs about God, your spouse, family, friends, pets, nature, the light peace joy etc, anything beautiful really, that lifts a spirit, even sadness is also fine. But we are strongly against songs about diabolical hate, demons, devils, killing, curses, war, evil, rages, enemies, darkness, abuse in any form, and anything that is insensitive. Music is universal and will always sound good. But the problem is with the lyrics. There are exceptions however. Like the Beatles say, “Hey Jude, don’t make it bad, take a sad song and make it better” if you change the lyrics to mould it to suitable message that is like honey to the ears that’s acceptable and you will be trained exceptionally to achieve all your goals.

Apart from degrees, grade examinations and performance training we extensively dig into music with a sense of history, theory and aural combined. We focus on every precise technical aspect of music. From when it’s produced. To when our ears catch it. Then to audiate it mentally and finally imitate it with complete awareness and deliberate precision, skill and understanding with sheet music guidance. We also offer karaoke training and chord progression lessons for anyone who’d like to take it easy yet get to an intermediate level of musicianship with hints of everything mentioned from the grade training.
