Being a student myself, I can undertsand the needs of a student. I like to keep my teaching focused on 2 things - Understanding the basic concepts and keep the learning exam-oriented.

Teaching with patience. I was handling english subject for III std in school and there were these two twin girls in my class who were mentally ill. In the sence, though they were 12 years old their behavior and the learning abilities were of 6-7 year olds.I had to give extra attention to them. First I rectified their way of writing by putting slashes betwen words as they used to write lines without any gap between words. I taught them to write word after word and then to pronounce the word syllable after syllable.I used to give them five hard words daily and made them to pronounce it properly several times. They also had to write each words ten times daily.After several days I gave them a few simple lines like ' Rama had a little dog'i. They used to write like 'ramahadalittledog'.I corrected them and slowly they started to give one finger space between words. Then I taught them simple grammar like when to use capital letters. I taught them to use capital letters at the starting of each sentence and then to put full stop at the ending of each sentence.Then I starting giving them two sentences daily to write ten times at home. They made a few mistakes in the beginning but they started improving sooner. My efforts paid off as these students started performing well in their academics.They started differentiating between words and there was noticeable improvement in their pronunciation.Their parents were full of praises for me whenever there was parents-teachers meeting.

Teaching has been a passionate job for the last 18 yrs.I'm friendly&jovial with my students off work,but when it's work timethere's total concentration&dedication.I enjoy all topics &subjects.I make an effort to look at all topics however boring or uninteresting to bring newness&creativity according to the temperament of the student.I like to take up challenges in teaching in the process I undergo transformation.It gives me immense pleasure when ex-students call on to talk about their days with me&wish that their schoolhood should have continued longer as they carry on good memories.my achievement is not just to make a child score numbers but to see that the thirst of knowledge is kindled&ignited.The technology I would impart to my students is not restricted or limited .Everything around us is full of technology which is to be explored &discovered.my motivation&involvement is always extended.
