I am a passionate theatre artist with over a decade of experience in the world of acting and drama. My journey into the performing arts began more than 10 years ago, and since then, I’ve immersed myself in learning, performing, and now teaching theatre. Over the past five years, I’ve been mentoring students in theatre, drama, and acting — guiding them through the intricacies of performance, character work, and stage presence. My teaching is deeply rooted in practical techniques and experiential learning, as I believe theatre is best understood by doing, not just observing. My formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree, but what truly shaped my artistic identity was my training at the Natana Theatre School. This institution provided me with a strong foundation in traditional and contemporary acting methods, voice modulation, body language, and stagecraft. Apart from that, I’ve participated in numerous workshops conducted by seasoned theatre professionals and industry veterans, which helped me gain insights into different acting styles and performance dynamics. Over the years, I’ve actively freelanced as a theatre trainer and conducted many drama workshops — especially during summer camps designed for children and young adults. I currently collaborate with two schools where I conduct weekly theatre classes. These sessions are structured to encourage creative thinking, build self-confidence, and enhance emotional intelligence among students. Working with children and teenagers has been especially rewarding, as I get to witness firsthand how theatre can unlock a student’s potential in unique and transformative ways. In my performing career, I’ve acted in over 150 theatre productions, spanning genres from mythological plays to modern social dramas. Performing across Karnataka, I’ve had the chance to experience the vibrancy and pulse of live audiences, which has continually fueled my love for the stage. Beyond theatre, I’ve appeared in several popular Kannada television serials, including shows on Colors Kannada, which helped me explore the nuances of screen acting — a different but equally exciting world. The blend of stage and screen experience allows me to bring a well-rounded perspective into my classes. I guide students on how to adapt their performances based on the medium — helping them understand the subtleties of voice projection on stage versus the camera's intimacy in screen acting. My sessions are interactive and hands-on, allowing students to learn through improvisation, scene work, and feedback-based refinement. Whether online or offline, my goal remains the same: to help aspiring actors discover their unique voice, overcome inhibitions, and build the confidence needed to shine in front of an audience. Theatre is not just an art form to me — it's a powerful medium for self-expression, discipline, and personal growth, and I’m committed to helping others experience its magic.
