I am an ex-software professional, who became a Carnatic Music Educator solely due to the passion I had towards Music. I had learnt Carnatic music under the guru-shishya tradition for over 14 years. More recently, I've pursued the title of Isai Kalaimani, a four-year long diploma course from Annamalai University, which has helped me hone my musical abilities as a performer and as a teacher. Over the past 5 years, I have been helping children develop a better understanding and appreciation for carnatic music from an early stage, through systematically combining theoretical concepts and illustrations alongside learning the basic practical lessons. I teach both vocal and veena to children and adults alike.

I am a teacher since 2007 in English, Kannada Science and Biology is my favorite subject. I am certified in this field. I have a Master degree in this field. My key skills include teaching the content with good explanation with illustrations as required. I teach with passion. My accomplishments are training students in languages, science subjects and medical field, teaching biology to students who aspire to gain success in this field.

I've been teaching for 10 years and have an experience of choreography for 11 years. I can choreograph different indian classical dance forms. Have performed in prestigious stages and have 200+ shows to my credit. I like to teach to students who are interested to explore this artform. Trained for 16+ years. Several state awards and titles received from well-known organizations. I'd like to experiment with what I've learnt. I'd like to introduce fun learning, theory Classes, experiments with dance, creative choreography and a little bit. I prefer taking individual classes so I can pay my full attention to the student and help them learn efficiently. This will help the student discuss and learn better.

I started Bharathanatiyam when I was five years old; from that moment on I absolutely loved everything about Bharathanatiyam. Also, very much my self-interest started! and helped me learning this art continuously throughout my dance career up to the Diploma in Bharathanatiyam from Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts, Kalakshetra Foundation. The passionate in Bharathanatiyam made me to compete in various stages and the awards pushed me in to the next level of my dancing career. Here are few of my achievements that I would like to note; 1. Arangetram under one of my early gurus Mrs. Latha Manickam, Salem in 2007. 2. Yuva Kalabharathi awarded by Brahmachari Dhuruva Chaitanya in 2007. 3. Arangetram from Kalakshetra foundation, Chennai, in 2016. 4. Jagrithi productions with Mrs. Krithika Subramaniam, Chennai, in 2016 & 2017. After Kalakshektra I was performing and tutoring in various dance intuitions in Chennai; by the way I have helped lot of students to learn Bharathanatiyam and choreographed them to perform on stages as well. And since I moved in to Bangalore after my marriage life I have now settled myself taking classes in Prestige Shantiniketan (with Mrs. Deepa Krishnamoorthy) in Whitefield.
