I have been teaching Kannada and Hindi for the past 28 years, helping students from Class 1 to 12, as well as Engineering and Medical students who require language support. Academically, I hold Master of Arts degrees in both Kannada and Hindi, which have given me a strong command of both languages. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in reputed institutions such as JPS School, Subhash Memorial English High School, Chitrakala Parishath, and M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology. Currently, I continue this journey at Sankalp Academy, where I teach language with a focus on clarity, grammar, and confidence-building. I also prepare students for exams, presentations, and even help college-level learners meet their curriculum goals. What I cherish most is my experience in teaching children with learning difficulties and special needs. Over the years, I’ve worked with several students who were slow learners or lacked confidence. With patience, care, and a personalized teaching style, I’ve been able to help them progress steadily and gain comfort with the language. The smiles of those children and the gratitude of their parents have always been the greatest awards of my career. I prefer offline teaching, as it allows me to better engage with students, read their body language, and provide hands-on support when needed. My classes are interactive, guided by a structured lesson plan, and adapted to suit each student’s pace. I often use the whiteboard as a visual aid to explain concepts clearly, especially for grammar and writing exercises. My goal as a teacher is not just to help students score well, but to help them embrace the beauty of Kannada and Hindi as living, expressive languages. I believe that with the right encouragement and methodology, every student—regardless of background—can achieve fluency and confidence in their language learning journey.
