I have had the opportunity to teach a 6th standard girl student named Saadhvi, and my experience with her has been one of meaningful academic and personal growth. Additionally, I taught her recall and retention methods that helped her remember formulas, steps, and key concepts effortlessly. Over time, she began solving problems with more confidence and accuracy, which reflected in her overall performance. For Social Science, I noticed she was hesitant to write long answers and often struggled with organizing her thoughts. To support her, I guided her in preparing structured notes, breaking down chapters into key points, and practicing answer-writing regularly. This consistent practice not only improved her writing speed but also helped her express ideas more clearly and independently. In Hindi and Sanskrit she initially faced difficulty due to the difference in script and unfamiliar vocabulary. Her struggle with writing and reading was understandable, as both subjects require consistent exposure. I helped her by breaking down complex words, using phonetic techniques, and giving her repetitive writing exercises to build familiarity and confidence. Over time, I saw significant improvement in her script formation, pronunciation, and comprehension skills. Her hesitation gradually reduced, and she became more comfortable engaging with both languages. For English Literature and Grammar, I worked on enhancing her reading fluency, comprehension abilities, and grammatical accuracy. I encouraged her to read aloud, summarize stories, and understand the meaning of new words through examples. Grammar concepts were taught using simple rules, mind maps, and repeated practice, which helped her apply them correctly in her writing. Throughout my time teaching Saadhvi, I witnessed remarkable progress in her academic confidence, writing ability, and subject comprehension. This experience strengthened my belief in personalized teaching, patient guidance, and consistent practice as powerful tools for student development.
