I have been in teaching for more than 3 years . I have helped many juniors and colleagues understanding the real concepts of technology.. I am definitely not the one who teaches u only the course of CCNA, but add-on will be there like real infra of enterprise network and architecture of hardwares. From my Understanding a student should 1st learn the operational behavior of any technology and then should learn how to create the control plane to achieve that operational behavior and finally should able to deploy data plane services over control plane. While conducting interviews I have experienced many candidates lacks in core packet level understanding of technology. They have knowledge of book but not able to apply in real world. When I ask a ques to CCNA/CCNP candidate that "if u run a command show ip arp s0/0, what would be expected output ? " 80% gives the wrong answer, it doesn't mean that he or she s not aware of PPP/hdlc or Ethernet encapsulation, it means that they don't know how to use concept in application.
