Yes. It doesn't really matters; hardly 1 or 2 subjects will differ which doesn't impact your skills and learning. But institutes will earn more money based on some comparisons but don't think about the jobs wise. Whatever you have joined, set up a path and focus on the same line. B.Tech courses are building blocks or foundations of your career, nothing else.
By EOD, it's your decision and your parents budget as well.

Sometimes matters in case of budget oriented. If you are not thinking fee or budget then you can directly go ahead with the specialization. Else you can go with the normal b.tech c.s.e and study the technologies on your own. Find some tutor online or find videos to learn.
Always keep hunger for learning..
