Aristotle is regarded as father of political science, in his famous book politics he wrote," Man is by nature a political animal and he who by nature and note by mere accident is without state, is either above humanity or below it".
Traditional View:
According to Dr.Garner, political science begins and ends with the state. Lord Acton says, political science is concerned with the state and with conditions essential for its development.
Modern View:
According to Hobbes politics is struggle for power.it meant a competition to hunt for political power. According to Harold D.Lasswell politics is who gets what when and how.
