Hi, to become a successful animation you need regular practice under proper guidance which you should always consider. No one is born as an Animator. Practice and proper guidance leads him to successful animator.

Animation wont happen overnight but will take time and with your continuos practice you will experience good project later. create you portfolio showreel, do small project for your own community and take feedbacks from people. pay attention to classic work and whats in trend. start with recreating others work. read less

Drawing is base. The more strong base, more strong building. 2D animation require purely traditional drawing skill. You can use softwares for animation, but it has their own limitation. No software can give you 100% 2D animation.
