If you are interested in full stack web development then you need to learn at least one back-end language and one front-end apart from HTML/CSS which is very basic and essential to start with. I would recommend few things: 1. Back-end Knowledge: Have basic idea of linux commands, networking concepts and either Python or Ruby (as of now) or PHP (for fast web learning) with their associated famous frameworks like Django for Python, Rails for Ruby In front-end: HTML/CSS, JQuery and BootStrap at least to design responsive sites There are many other things/technologies that you would need in future but it will be a good kickstart for you if you follow in this way. read less
