First of all ,you have to make your mind aswell as yourself calim for the exam ,panic and worry is the biggest enemy for any exam ,make a grouping of the syllabus given for the exam and do practice regularly in the morning for atleast 1hr ,and give rest to your to throth

Go through the past 5 year question paper , you will easily understand the pattern. And then read all the definitions , history of all the musicians. Do write and practice the tala and raga part .
Also , try to ELONGATE the answer even if u know little about the answer and present it in a beautiful manner so that the examiner gets the feel that you know something about the given topic. Draw a line after each and every answer and try to make your answersheet neat and clean.
