You have to use your ear and memorize where to place your fingers, that is how you play a violin in tune. It is a good thing violin doesn't have Frets because it makes it a more expressive instrument. You can really shape the notes. You can also play with vibrato

Any book that you can suggest for me to play Violin by myself?
It's absolutely not possible to learn violin by reading books only. At least manage to get some good violin tutorials online or go to a violin trainer. anyway, these two books are best. Suzuki Violin Method. Galamian.

Hi, I want to learn to play the violin, and I am not sure which violin to go for as a beginner. I don't have any local shop nearby, so I probably would have to order online. Can someone help with which violin I should buy?
You should always go to the store and check out yourself by playing on different acoustic instruments. Even if they look the same, the sound won't! Play by yourself and pick the one you like.
