Jethro Tull Eddie Jobson was a violinist and keyboardist who played with Jethro Tull and other progressive rock bands. Kansas Robby Steinhardt was a co-lead singer, violinist, and MC for the rock band Kansas. String Driven Thing A Scottish folk rock band led by Chris and Pauline Adams, who play the electric violin. Other bands that have experimented with string sections, harpsichords, and wind instruments include The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Beach Boys.
