Violins were first developed in northern Italy during the early 16th century. The earliest known makers, such as Andrea Amati, crafted them in Cremona, which later became famous for legendary luthiers like Stradivari and Guarneri.

Hi, I want to learn to play the violin, and I am not sure which violin to go for as a beginner. I don't have any local shop nearby, so I probably would have to order online. Can someone help with which violin I should buy?
You should always go to the store and check out yourself by playing on different acoustic instruments. Even if they look the same, the sound won't! Play by yourself and pick the one you like.
