Ravi Bhushan

I am a dedicated Life Science teacher with a rich background in research and academia. I hold a Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University in Molecular and Human Genetics, where my research focused on 'Molecular studies of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus'. As a faculty member in the Zoology department, I have been actively involved in both teaching and research.

My teaching experience spans various aspects of life sciences, including molecular biology, genetics, and bioinformatics. I am currently leading efforts to organize a summer camp, showcasing our lab and facilities to both outsiders and locals, aiming to inspire and educate the next generation of scientists.

In addition to my teaching duties, I am deeply involved in the development of our department. We are in the process of opening a new department for bioinformatics and genomics, for which I am designing a detailed curriculum and syllabus. Our department also offers a postgraduate diploma program in bioinformatics and genomics.

My research interests include cancer biology, with a focus on non-coding RNAs, cancer stemness, and therapeutic drug resistance. I am currently working on a review article titled 'Unraveling the Nexus: Non-coding RNAs, Cancer Stemness and Therapeutic Drug Resistance'.

I have also applied for a postdoc position in the Type 1 diabetes (T1D) group at Linköping University, under the guidance of Professor Johnny Ludvigsson and Docent Rosaura Casas. My diverse background in research and teaching equips me with the skills and knowledge to effectively contribute as an online tutor, bringing a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical research experience to my students.
