IdentityI teach Social Studies to students from Class 1 to Class 5, and also guide students in Social Science subjects for Class 8 and Class 12. I am passionate about helping students understand subjects like History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science in a simple and meaningful way. My goal is to help learners build strong conceptual clarity and develop interest in understanding how society, governance, and global systems work.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Tourism from the University of Madras. Alongside my academic background, I am currently preparing for the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination, which requires a deep understanding of Social Science subjects and current affairs. This preparation strengthens my analytical skills and allows me to bring real-world perspectives into my teaching.
Although I am at the beginning of my formal tutoring journey, I am highly dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences for my students. I believe that Social Science should not be taught through memorization alone. Instead, students should understand the reasons behind historical events, political systems, economic principles, and geographical patterns.
My teaching approach focuses on conceptual clarity and logical understanding. I simplify complex topics using relatable examples, current affairs references, maps, flowcharts, and structured explanations. This helps students improve retention, critical thinking, and answer-writing skills while making the subject more engaging and easier to grasp.
I conduct online classes and create an interactive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their thoughts. I am patient, approachable, and always ready to adjust my teaching style according to each student’s learning pace and academic requirements.
My aim as a tutor is to help students develop a strong academic foundation while also building curiosity about the world around them. By connecting textbook concepts with real-life examples, I strive to make Social Science practical, interesting, and meaningful for every learner.
