Should I quit my job and start preparation for the UPSC, or should I work at least for a year?

Not needed. i used to work in hyundai and prepare for upsc, i attended two times for interview also. it was because of my silly mistakes i lost the exam, not need to work 8 hrs a year. just 2-3 hours for focused preparation in the right direction is enough to clear this exam.
