Motivation... Comes from within self.. The hunger for upsc n passion for that post will motivate you Although for ur question - take small breaks, do art, fitnesss Upsc tests our patience , how good we are when we stress out.. So meditation may help you

what are the basic time preparation for ias ??
It depends on the schedule you are comfortable with. On an average 8 hours daily for 6 months can help you befriend with the subjects concerned. A good mentor is also required throughout.
