To crack UPSC you do not need learn English, CSE can be taken in any of the languages mentioned in the application form.

Suruthi | 17 Apr

English is not a big deal to preparing for UPSC. Start your preparation and to improve your English start reading Hindu newspaper and have a dictionary with you so that you can refer to it whenever you come across new words. That will help you lot.

1. Chalk out your weakness and strong points in context of UPSC exam. 2. Start focusing on improving the knowledge specific to subject. 3. Start focusing on improving the knowledge about general awareness in context of current ongoing issues / topics. Make a deep dive on current issues / topics. 4. Understand Public policy issues in deeper sense. 5. Same time also focus on improving skills that are linked with your delivery / actual performance. Adding knowledge is good but unless you learn the effectiveness of delivering your knowledge with all accuracy, perfection and on given time and place, final success will be tough. So focus on your ability to deliver what you have learnt is extremely important. 6. Sincere and hard work for quite long time be ready.
