1. The cashe memory follows the basic principle of locality of reference, which means the most recently and frequently used data and instruction are stored very close to processor and they are not removed and furher if a code or data is used there is a chance to demand the code or data very nearest to the current one, and these code or data is already fetched and stored in the cashe in advance and thus processoer are seldom starved, which in turn speed up execution. read less

Water shows unusual expansion. If we take a cube of ice at -5°C and heat it, itexpandstill ice starts melting. During melting its temperature remains 0°C but its volume decreases. If heat is continuously supplied to water at 0°C, it further contracts up to 4°C and then it starts expanding. Thus water has its minimum volume and maximum density at 4°C.Theanomalousexpansion of water helps preserveaquaticlife during verycold weather. When temperature falls, the top layer of water in a pond contracts, becomes denser and sinks to the bottom. Acirculationis thus set up until the entire water in the pond reaches its maximum density at 4°C. If the temperature falls further, the top layerexpandsand remains on the top till it freezes. Thus even though the upper layer are frozen the water near the bottom is at 4°C and thefishesetc. can survive in it easily. read less

A high altitudes, the pressure is lower. So water cannot boil at 100 degrees. The boiling point of water at a high altitude is less than 100 degrees.

As we know, at higher altitude atmospheric pressure decrese. When we heat water the water molecules absorbe that heat energy and the internal pressure of water increase. When this internal pressure of water reaches atmospheric pressure, water starts boiling and water molecule start to evaporate, as it overcomes external pressure exerted by atmosphere on the water molecules. Now, if we boil water at any high altitude area, hence having lower pressure of atmospheric air, as per the same logic of water boiling, it starts to boil at lower temperature, as this time water molecules need relatively lower internal energy to overcome atmospheric pressure. read less

In case the data is access more than one time the data will stored in the cache memory for easy accessing. For example in your shelf you arrange your coths in a one rack. Your daily used cloths are placed in top of the rack for easy to access. The same process is done in cache memory. read less
