I am currently learning C programming in College. Should I learn Python simultaneously? Or, should I learn about IoT?

Varun Sharma

There is no need to learn Python with C yet, just set out the attention on C, it'll help you later. But yes you can continue for the IOT as well.

So thing in which you must focus is building basic concepts with C. Like in my case while building IoT devices my knowledge of C helps me a lot to make an amazing interaction with Arduino and Raspberry Pi or my Linux system. So yeah it helps, believe me.

I don't agree with this. C++ is an amazing language. In my school, I learned C++ as my curriculum. And believe me, it helped me a lot especially the concept of OOP. when we declace header that is struct xyz

{.....

} ;

its  not going to allocate any memory . memory is only allocated when we declare a variable of structure type .

so if we declare the variable

ex: struct xyz   v1;

then the memory will be allocated for v1 during compile time .

simlary if we use malloc

it allocate the memory required for structure and  store the address of first byte in a structure variable In this case   the memory is allocated runtime ( dynamic)

so it is must to declare a variable or use malloc in program to allocate memory .
