1. 'Chanson de la Seine'

Par, Jacques Prévert

Recueil: "Spectacle"

La Seine a de la chance
Elle n’a pas de soucis
Elle se la coule douce
Le jour comme la nuit
Et elle sort de sa source
Tout doucement sans bruit
Et sans se faire de mousse
Sans sorti de son lit

Elle s’en va vers la mer
En passant par Paris
La Seine a de la chance
Elle n’a pas de soucis
Et quand elle se promène
Tout le long de ses quais
Avec sa belle robe verte

Et ses lumières dorées
Notre-Dame jalouse
Immobile et sévère
Du haut de toutes ses pierres
La regarde de travers
Mais la Seine s’en balance

Elle n’a pas de soucis
Elle se la coule douce
Le jour comme la nuit
Et s’en va vers le Havre
Et s’en va vers la mer
En passant comme un rêve
Au milieu des mystères
Des misères de Paris.

2. Pour Toi, Mon Amour.

Par: Jacques Prévert

Je suis allé au marché aux oiseaux
Et j’ai acheté des oiseaux
Pour toi
Mon amour.

Je suis allé au marché aux fleurs
Et j’ai acheté des fleurs
Pour toi
Mon amour.

Mon amour.

1. Reveil

C'est le matin ... un rayon rose

Glisse de la persienne close

Jusqu' au lit blanc,

Un rayon rose qui se joue

Dans les cheveux et sur la joue

Du petit Jean.

L'enfant entrouvre une paupière

Puis il laisse entre la lumière

Dans ses yeux bleus,

Il regarde et se met à rire,

Car le rayon semble lui dire;

Soyons joyeux!

( Ce poème a écrit par Madame E .De pessensé. Fischbacher, édit.)

Translation:

"Awakening"

It is the morning time ... a rosy ray

Slipping  trough the closed shutter

Castes unto the white bed,

A rosy beam which plays

Into the hairs and upon the cheek

Of little john.

The infant opens one eyelid

Then it allows to enter the sunlit

Among his blue eyes,

He looks & begins laughing,

Because the ray seems to state

Let us joyful ours ever!

2. L'Automne

L'aube est moins claire, l'air moins chaud,le ciel moins pur;

Translation:

"The Autumn"

The down is less clear, the air is less worm, the heaven is least pure.

The long days are passed, the little charms are ending.

Alas! see here, the trees are already yellowish!

The autumn is sad with his breeze and his moist,

& the only friend Summer who departs fluently by alone.

1. Quand on veut saluer quelqu'un en français (When we have to wish someone) (formal or informal).

Ans: We write/ say "Bonjour". Bonjour is used as Hi/Hello/Good Morning or to wish someone and is the best salutation in informal or formal setting.

2. Quand on veut saluer un/une ami(e) en français (When we have to wish a friend) (used in informal setting).

Ans: We write/say "Salut". Meaning: Hi

Salut is used when you wish someone whom you know well for eg. your colleague who could be like your friend. It is best used in informal setting. It should not be used in formal setting for eg. starting a business meeting.

Note: 't' in word Salut is silent and hence not pronounced.

When it's an extremely informal relation such as friends and family, we may use "Coucou" which means "Hey, there!" or simply "Hey!".

Verb phrase: Faire coucou à quelqu'un (qqn) means to wave at someone or say hey to someone.

Another informal greeting which is slightly more involved salutation:

Quoi de neuf? It means "what's new?" But it is more often used for saying "What's up?" It is an excellent greeting to use for someone you are meeting after a while.

When we talk over phone, just like we say hello to greet, in french, we use "Allô"

Pranic Healing involves the transference of energy of life force from the healer to the patient. The main conduit for the transmission of energies is the energy body.

In the energy body there are several whirling energy centers, some 3-4 inch in diameter called “Chakras.” They control and energize all the organs of visible physical body. Chakras are just like power stations that supply vital energy to all the organs. When any of these chakras malfunction, the corresponding organs become weak or eventually sick or diseased.

In Pranic Healing, the treatment involves cleansing and energizing of the chakras and corresponding physical organs, with fresh, life sustaining “Prana”. The techniques for doing this are very simple and easy to learn and also easy to practice.

Pranic Healing is a powerful scientific method which can heal a wide range of physical and psychological ailments.
