Tableau has a massive market presence, a great community and it's features are growing extensively. Maybe it is better for quick visualization purposes and not for state-of-the art custom visualizations, but in a production environment it is quite effective.

Depending on your requiremnt ... You have to choose the product. If u are looking at ease of use, cost saving and best server support .. Then tableau If u r looking at performance then qlikview.

Qlikview is better as its supports ETL Scripting for Data modeling and associative data model which not in any other technoliges directly

Learning both doesn't habe any advantage. It is recommended to learn either Tableau or QlikView. Tableau is rich in features and widely adapted by many corporates. I hope this answers your question.
