Python is a programming language, while there are Data Visualization(DV) libs in Python, it is used beyond DV. Tableau excels in DV. Perhaps, you can compare Tableau with Seaborn. Both are equally powerful when it comes to plotting a graph. While the Tableau UI is slick, Seaborn has pretty graphics, and with Python, it makes it even more powerful when you can index, select and filter data you want in the graph. read less
