Neither, although insights about the raw data can be gleaned from both, programmatically manipulating data and visualisation for model building is best done in R or Python or other analytical frameworks. Statistical analysis is possible in both Tableau, and Power BI using both built-in and user-defined functions, followed by visualisation, however further manipulations such as missing value imputation, outlier treatment, WoE analysis etc. are better handled in a data analytics framework. read less
