In the active voice, the sentence's subject performs the action on the action's target. In the passive voice, the target of the action is the main focus, and the verb acts upon the subject.

Is there any structure in spoken English?
In spoken English we generally say 'I'm', 'you're', 'we're', etc., in place of 'I am', 'you are', 'we are', etc. While writing we use an apostrophe (') in place of the missing word. a. Who's your father? (Who is your father?)
