Actions occurred in Past denotes past tense ,Present is used to state regular habits /Daily Activities/ Universal Truths.

Past tense is used to talk about something that has happened a while ago, something in the past. Present tense is used to talk of something that is happening now, at present.

past tense s used when talking about some past event eg l was doing my home work. Present tense l am doing my homework, future tense l will do my home work tomorrow.

Whatever is happening now during the present time that is known as Present Tense and what events took place yesterday or the day before or last week or just about an hour ago is called Past Tense.

There are three tenses 1. Present Tense ----- tells us what is happening now. e.g I am eating an ice cream. Past Tense ---- tells us what already happened. e.g. I ate an ice cream Future ------ what will happen e.g. I will eat an ice cream.


Past and persent tense are are Eglish Grammerl words. Past tense means - what you did a while before or long ago. For eg. I drank tea in the morning. Present tense means - what you are doing right now or at this instinct. For eg. I am reading a fiction book.
