Selecting high-quality literature is essential for CAT preparation, particularly for the VARC segment. The degree of your English skill and your capacity for autonomous comprehension will determine how beneficial the books are. I purchased Sujit Kumar's Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension and Arun Sharma's Verbal Aptitude book during the second round of my CAT preparation, and I registered in Bodhee Prep's VARC (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension) course.
To prepare for the CAT VARC, you need to purchase or download the following books:
1. The CR Bible
2. Wren & Martin High School Grammar : Grammar

3. Word Power Made Easy : Vocab

4. All about words : Vocab

5. Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction : Grammar

6. Manhattan GMAT Critical Reasoning : CR.

It would be appropriate to begin your preparation with reading. However, you can sign up for an online program or video course if you feel that you need support and books aren't helping you enough.
