The first step is to maximize your exposure to the language. this can be done by watching english news channels, english movies with english subtitles, reading english newspapers etc. aforementioned ways are best suited for people above the age of 8-10years. If you want a child to learn english you can provide the child with illustrated english story books and english cartoons and rhymes. However due to lack of continued guidance, learning english in this manner can be time consuming. Learning under a teacher will ensure that mistakes once made are not repeated. the practice obtained through your classes will instill confidence in your communication skills. read less
