We are not improving our English language skills, because we're not practising it regularly. A few tips which would help you, heard of TED talks? Josh talks? Listen to it every day. I've been doing this for 2+ years now, and my language skills have improved. If you're not fond of talks, try watching movies in English, I recommend a few good movies like Zootopia, The Shawshank Redemption, La la land etc. Then how about listening to English music?
Everybody can say this watch this, watch that, the reason behind this is, make you keep in touch with the language. If you're only speaking and hearing in your mother tongue, you're losing out on the opportunities to learn another language and listening you can do with the help of movies, songs, etc. Then how about speaking? Their Urban pro comes in handy. Meet new people and start practising.

Good luck!
