You can independently start revising your grammar skills and then start writing articles, reading blogs, novels and then communicating with your friends in English. 3. It would be better if you first list down the areas in which you think that you need to improve your English language skills. And, then you could start focusing on your weaker areas to improve. 4. Read books, newspapers, articles, etc. Lots and lots of it. Keep a dictionary nearby for words you don't understand. Avoid reading too much from social media though.

The best way is to learn how you learnt your mother tongue -- immerse yourself in the language. Anywhere you can use English make sure you use it -- at work, with friends, movies etc... It does not mean you have to talk in English all the time but also listening makes a big difference.
