Neha By the way you have expressed your problem, I understand your English language is good. Don't bother if you fall asleep while reading. If reading books is not your cup of tea, watch good programmes and movies on TV. Do what you love doing.

That means you find it difficult to concentrate on a task for a longer time span. If you are unable to cultivate the habit of reading to improve your speaking, then begin by watching videos of English talk shows and animated movies. Another activity which you can make interesting for yourself, would be maintaining a journal. Keep a notebook or diary, develop the routine of penning down details of all your everyday activities or experiences in the English language. You will gradually start thinking in English. This way your attention span will improve, you can then progress to reading short stories as newspapers are not the only recommended reading material. Trust me when I say it works, aa I speak from personal experience. read less

Speaking in English fluently is aided when you watch English movies. After watching a considerable number of movies your understanding of the language will improve and then you can practice with a friend or family member to keep the learning process in constant renewal.
