Helping verbs: Am, is, are, was, were
Helping verbs are also called auxiliary verbs. These are a fundamental component of English grammar.
Verbs that are used as main verb are defined as Primary Auxiliary Verb.
I'm other words, the verb to be, verb to have and verb to do are Primary Auxiliary Verbs
They are used as the main verbs in the sentence.
For to be: That is used in present tense
Helping verbs: Am, is, are, was, were
Examples: I'm going to school
We are friends
They were absent yesterday
I'm happy to help
She wants to be a friend
