Basic programming skills, OOPs concepts, Collections, Exception handlings, Strings, And it will be very easy to write test scripts since we have inbuilt methods.. Our Job as a automation tester is Create an Object and call the methods..

Yes, Manual testing and related process of QA is enough to start your carrier in good way.. Once you get famillier with basic manual testing then you can move to other testing like Automation or Performance Testing.
