Hi, You are saying that you are 2014 passed out. There are 2 paths infront of you. 1) Programming (Ex: .net/java) 2) Testing(Manual, Automation, Performance Testing). Now I will explain each aspect: 1) If you go to programming side there will be so much of competition, infact its not an easy thing to survive. 2) Testing Manual Testing: It is easy to learn , but not at all easy to get a job, why because here your domain knowledge will be taken into consideration.So much of competition will be there like if there are 5 positions then almost 150 to 200 peole will come. B)Automation Testing: Here good chances to get a job, if you want to learn QTP you should be expertise in vb.net, and if you want to learn Selenium , you should be expertise in java. So I can say that it is not that easy again to get a job. Here is your best option, read the below content carefully, C) Performance Testing (Loadrunner) ( I am loadrunner Trainer) To learn the Loadrunner the pre requisite is basics of lang like loops and conditions are enough. In Loadrunner script will be generated automatically by the tool itself, just we have to do few enhancements to the script.In the enhancements if you can able to learn concept of Correlation in Loarunner then that will be enough to manage your job. Coming to competion if there are 10 positions, then the no.of people will come hardly 17 to 20 persons.Finally I can say that Loadrunner is easiest job rather than any oter technologogy in the IT field. Once you finish the training, you will stand at a position where 5 years real time experienced guy is having the same knowledge. This is 100% my assurance.
