UCEED, CEED, NID, NIFT, NATA

There are different types and textures of paper and different grades of pencils to get different results for sketching. Although for quick sketching I prefer 100 gsm matt finish paper and 2B ir HB grade of pencils which are easily available in the market.

Why do sketches look better than line art so often?
Sketches are often quick and loose. This allows the mark making to be fresh and open. when you begin to line the work you are making the marks all the same weight and it takes the freshness away from the original sketch.
