humming is a pattern to imitate a tune, song or even the swaras in an octave. It is also considered to be one of the best warm up before starting to practice singing or songs.

singing is the effective use of Larynx(voice box) . It involves the breath converted to voice by the vocal cords in the Larynx. So when we sing out a song or lyrics that is because of the musical knowledge that one has received in the form of classes from a Guru or training from experts
