Show previous answers

Vinod replied | 05/09/2016

humming is a pattern to imitate a tune, song or even the swaras in an octave. It is also considered to be one of the best warm up before starting to practice singing or songs.

Vinod replied | 05/09/2016

singing is the effective use of Larynx(voice box) . It involves the breath converted to voice by the vocal cords in the Larynx. So when we sing out a song or lyrics that is because of the musical knowledge that one has received in the form of classes from a Guru or training from experts

Get classical training under an experienced guru. It will be quiet expensive but that's the only way to learn. We at moonware creatives also teach. The teacher is experienced and known and you may find his works on YouTube. Just type Anith Sadanand and you can see his performance there.

Online singing classes or regular singing classes, which one is better?

0 0

Priya replied | 18/04/2016

Hi Parini, Both have its own pros and cons. It depends on the place where you are living, availability of the teacher in your chosen music genre in your locality, the speed of your internet connection, how many hours you can invest for music both practice as well as travel. After considering all these factors, take a right decision.
All the best !!!

Vinod replied | 02/09/2016

Hi for a beginner direct class is the best. If you are not able to find a right tutor for direct class then you can opt for an online class.

Voice is the major investment of the singer that fetches the popularity and earning for his/her life. Singers obviously use their voices in very special ways, influenced by training and esthetic values (self learning and imagination) that make their voice appealing and suitable for singing a particular style of music. Though the larynx is used for both speaking and singing, the use of the larynx while singing is more complex, coordinated and intricate than for speaking. Singing requires a more delicate and precise control of the respiratory muscles, phonatory and resonatory system. A good singer must have trained skills on good breath and clarity in singing on their comfortable vocal range. «less
