Had you been asking how Selenium would connect to database to read data, please understand Selenium is a web client (browser) driver for user interactions. It has no built in functionality to connect to any database. However, if you have programming language like Java (JDBC/JPA) and test framework like TestNG (data provider), then you can achieve it programmatically. read less
