Hi Deepak, Selenium is an open source technology,to learn selenium you can start by following the below approaches: 1.Install Java and Eclipse 2.Take an demo web application like gmail/flipkart or anything of you choice 3.Learn about HTML dom and locator finding strategies for selenium 4.Take simple simple scenario and try to automate those like clicking,entering text 5.Learn about TestNg/JUnit from good sites available from internet. 6.Use testNg/JUnit to start writing test script using the same. To start a career prepare well in Java and selenium commands along with concepts on Unit test framewrok (TestNg/Junit) and attend the interview. Thanks Debarghya Roy read less

I would say a very good BASICS of JAVA is required to learn any opensource automation tool...! you can do that but it will take so much time to learn your self. so, it's good if you can approach any trainers who are giving good basics in java and selenium..!
