Now a days it is difficult to survive without coding and thinking of clearing an interview without coding is almost have zero probability. But still if first round is telephonic then percentage of coding will around 20% and mostly questions on type of work, framework used, binding language concepts etc. But in f2f almost 90% coding in technical rounds and some time companies take machine round which is 100% coding and we need to solve given problem on spot. Mostly real time questions are asked.Expect up to 90% coding and 10% theory. read less

Hi Poonam, It is tough to say about this and it is foolish to rely on just theoretical concepts on Selenium for 2 reasons - 1) You may not be able to clear if you just have theoretical knowledge and do not have practical knowledge if they stress more on programming queries. 2) Even if you clear your interview how would you perform in your job as writing automation scripts is mandatory as an automation engineer. So this would be lead you to depression and there is a more probability of you loosing the job provided you don't learn there. Getting time in your job will be very difficult and it will lead to unnecessary stress. By considering these I would advice you to go for training and get acquainted with the skill asap. If you are looking at Manual QA then Selenium does not come into picture. If you are looking at any of the trainings then you can reach out to me as we have class-room and online trainings.
