SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) is a high-level programming language created by the German software company SAP SE. ABAP is specifically designed for developing applications within the SAP ecosystem, such as custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces for SAP software. Key features and aspects of SAP ABAP include: SAP Application Development: ABAP is the primary language used for developing applications within the SAP Business Suite, including modules like SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management), SAP BW (Business Warehouse), and more. Database Independence: ABAP is database-independent, meaning that the same ABAP code can be used to interact with various database systems. This enhances portability and flexibility in SAP implementations. Integration Capabilities: ABAP allows for seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems. It supports communication with different technologies and protocols, including web services and various application programming interfaces (APIs). Data Dictionary: ABAP includes a Data Dictionary that allows developers to define and manage data structures, database tables, and views. This provides a centralized repository for managing data definitions in SAP systems. Open SQL: ABAP uses Open SQL, a set of SQL statements tailored for SAP applications. Open SQL allows developers to interact with the underlying database using a standardized syntax, regardless of the database management system (DBMS) used. Report Programming: ABAP is commonly used for developing custom reports in SAP. Reports can be designed to extract, process, and present data in a format that meets specific business requirements. Business Logic: ABAP is used to implement business logic within SAP applications. This includes defining workflows, validations, calculations, and other custom business rules to meet specific business process requirements. User Interface Development: ABAP supports the development of user interfaces for SAP applications. This includes the creation of screens, menus, and dialog boxes that enable users to interact with the system. Enhancements and Modifications: ABAP allows for enhancements and modifications to standard SAP applications. This enables organizations to tailor their SAP systems to meet unique business needs without modifying the core SAP code. Web Dynpro for ABAP: Web Dynpro for ABAP is a framework that enables the development of web-based applications using ABAP. It allows developers to create interactive and dynamic web applications within the SAP environment. SAP Fiori: With the evolution of SAP Fiori, a user experience (UX) design approach, ABAP developers can also contribute to creating modern, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces for SAP applications. ABAP plays a crucial role in the customization, extension, and development of solutions within the SAP ecosystem. SAP ABAP developers are responsible for creating and maintaining custom programs, reports, interfaces, and other components that enhance the functionality of SAP applications based on the specific needs of organizations. read less

Hi,  Myself Jagadeesh..

I Completed my graduation(EEE)  in 2016.

I have a two years experience in US IT STAFFING.  Now am thinking to move for SAP.

Can anyone suggest me the best module which suits me and which has a huge growth in future? !

Thanks in advance.

As you know, in SAP, there are around 8+ modules. In my opinion, SAP PS & PM, along with FICO, is growing these days. In various companies like IBM, ITC, TCS, you can get the right package also after certification in SAP.
